Forest United lost 2-0 to Castle United at home on Saturday.
After suffering two defeats to Castle Utd in the Essex Junior Cup & the previous league encounter between the two sides earlier in the season, Forest were eager to gain a victory in this match.
Both teams battled hard & as the match went on it became increasing clear that whoever scored the first goal would most likely win the match. So it proved as Castle United finally broke the deadlock in the second half. Castle Utd when on to score again to win the match 2-0.
The league table does not lie & the best team in the premier division by far this season went on to claim another win & three points. For Forest, the inquest begins & many questions will need to be answered as to how Forest move on from here.
